After receiving my Bachelors of Business Administration and gaining experience in Professional Sales, an underlying passion for programming and technology led me to transitioning into full-time coding. I have experience and knowledge in object-oriented programming and full-stack software development which were acquired and honed through a 16-week immersive full-stack coding bootcamp at DigitalCrafts. My interests lie in real-world problem solving, and developing more efficient and desirable software applications.

Here are a few things that I've been working on recently.
A Flappy Birds remake using Python and Pygame
This is a "Flappy Birds" -esque remake I created during my second week in the DigitalCrafts Immersive Bootcamp. built this game using Python 3.7.1 with Anaconda and with Pygame. To play this game, you hit SPACE to initialize game play. During each of the 5 levels, try to keep the DigitalCraft wrench in the air using the UP key. In order to complete each level, you must make your way through the tubes without touching them. This python exercise implemented the lessons we learned using OOP and Classes combined with our previous lessons on lists, functions, loops, and more. Flappy Crafts is powered by Python and Pygame.
A front end web application to find local breweries near you
"Rough Draft Beer" is a front-end only application designed to search for new and exciting breweries to explore based on user input for city, state, and a radius. The application takes the city, state, and radius and converts it to Latitude and Longitude. The application then loads a map of all breweries around and allows you to click on the icon for detailed information on the brewery selected. This web application was built entirely on the front-end and utilized HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Google Places API, OpenBreweryDB API, OpenWeatherMap API, and OpenCage Geocoding API.
Where Music and Friend Finding Collide
“EarBuds” is where music and online profile matching collide. This full-stack application allows user to log in via OAth to their Spotify music account where their top 4 artists will be loaded on their profile. Don’t like what you see or embarrassed by your past listening endeavors? No worries, feel free to change out any of your top 4 artists. Once those are set, move on to the matches page where you are able to see other users top 4 artists (and listen to 30 second previews). On each user you come across, you can either like them or skip them based on what interests you. When you feel like you’ve made enough matches or run out of users, move on over to the Messages page. From there, you can see current and previous conversations with your matches and share with them new music they may be interested in (or chat about anything!). Don’t worry though, if someone is bothering you - you can block them with the icon next to their name. This application was built using the full-stack and incorporated HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Spotify API, PostgreSQL, Node.js, Express, ES6 Renderer and Passport.js.
